Lowell Job Adams
October 3, 1938 - July 13, 2025
Lowell Job Adams, 86, of Hayden, Idaho, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family who loved him very much.
Lowell was born on Oct. 3, 1938 in Park City, Utah and grew up in Careywood, Idaho. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps as a jet mechanic before building a 37 year long dedicated career as a pipefitter at Kaiser Aluminum. He was a hardworking man who lived with quiet integrity and a deep love for his family.
Lowell is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Sally Ann Myers Adams and their 6 children: Kym (Vivian) Howell, Darren (Wendy) Adams, Deanna Adams Watkins, Sherri (Ed) Morrow, Keith Adams, and Kimberly (Mike) Steuernagel.
“Papa Lowellster” was a proud grandfather to 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense joy and he loved making memories with them.
Those who knew Lowell will remember him as mild-mannered, soft-spoken, and full of dry wit. He loved spending time outdoors in nature doing activities such as hunting, camping, fishing, snowmobiling, cutting wood all of which brought him much happiness. He also enjoyed watching his family at sporting events and was an avid Gonzaga Bulldogs fan. He cherished treasured moments with his family and friends. His calm presence and warm sense of humor left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
One of his favorite jokes, always delivered with a twinkle in his bright blue eyes summed up his playful spirit: “Do you know how to make a hankie dance? Put a little boogie in it.”
Lowell will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love.
Viewing will be Friday July 18 @ 10 am, Service at 11 at ENGLISH Funeral Chapel POST FALLS, followed by a Celebration of Life at the AMERICAN LEGION POST FALLS with a military burial at CDA MEMORIAL GARDENS.
