Mary Ann Gnagy

Mary Ann Gnagy, age 85, resident of Hayden, Idaho, died May 30, 2026. She was born July 30, 1940, in Ft. Collins, Colorado to Roll and Dolly (Presley) Gnagy. She moved to this area in 1966 from Sacramento, California.

She was an accounts payable clerk, working for Louisiana Pacific for several years before retiring in 2003. She played standup bass and sang with the bluegrass band, “Legal Limit”.

She is survived by her son, Eric Platt and daughter, Jan Marie Maxwell, both from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Rolla Gnagy of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Gerald Gnagy, Kenneth Johnson, and Marion Kay Gnagy.

English Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with her care.
