Mary went peacefully into Our Lord’s arms on April 19th, 2025.

The love of her children and grandchildren was of most importance to her.

Mary was the mother of 5 children: Robert, Diana, Thomas, Michael, And Daniel. From these children she had 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Mary was one of eight children of Earl and Irene Lovell of Springfield Vermont. She Graduated from Springfield High School and Concord Commercial College. Mary then moved to the Inland Northwest and in 1972 settled in Athol Idaho. She was an active member of the Community. She was a Member of the Kootenai County Human Rights Task force, A court advocate for women in Domestic Violence, Athol City Council president and Served as Mayor of Athol.

Mary loved the outdoors, hiking, fishing, picking huckleberries, camping, gardening, helping others and spending time with friends and family.

A Memorial and Celebration of Life will be held at Athol Baptist Church on May 17, 2025, at 4:00pm
