Marylyn Ruth Cordell

Marylyn Ruth Cordell (86) Passed away on July 14, 2023 in Helena, MT. Born in Houston, TX. Graduated Executive Secretarial Course and had a brief marriage to William Darwood Schell. Later joined the US Air Force serving three years in the European Theater at SHAPE Hdqs in Paris, France and Headquarters Third Air Force in London, England.

After returning to America she worked for Morrison-Knudsen Co. and the Minutemen Missile Projects in Cheyenne, WY, Grand Forks, N.D. and Great Falls, MT. She was then transferred to Saigon Vietnam for 2 1/2 years and traveled extensively throughout the Far East, Australia, New Zealand, and South Sea Islands.

After returning to Houston in 1968, she moved to Spokane, WA and then purchased a home in Post Falls, ID. She retired from Kaiser Aluminum in 1994 and then traveled the States. She loved camping, fishing, friends, and loved reading books, especially mystery ones.

She is survived by a niece and nephews. In lieu of flowers please donate to the cancer society as Marylyn was a two time cancer survivor since 1977.
