Merry Elaine Hinkle gained her angel wings on May 31st, 2025 in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. Merry was 73 years old when she returned to her Heavenly Father, and joined her husband, Hugh ‘Butch’ Hinkle, who preceded her in death in December of 2012. Born on June 13, 1950, in Oxnard California, Merry was a cosmetologist, a florist, and most importantly, a devoted Nana to her five beloved grandchildren.
She was resilient; faithful, and grounded; her care was a reflection of God’s love. Merry offered strength more than sentiment and presence more than words. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Merry is survived by her two daughters, Michele ‘Meech,’ Hinkle and Melissa A Estrada, and grandchildren Isabel, Merry, AB, JJ, Olivia, and Angelo.
