Myrna Gay Lytle

She was born Myrna Gay Fox on April 12,1935 in Kellogg, Idaho to parents William Samuel Fox and Chloe Woodrow Thompson.

Myrna was raised in Oregon and graduated from Eagle Point High School in 1953.

In December of 1953, she married William Frederick Lytle (whom she was married to for 52 years) and had 3 children: Robert (his s.o. Debbie); Katherine Cerise; and Tosha (her s.o. Joe).  She had 7 grandchildren: Casey; Jessica; Brandy; Beau; Davin; Brock and Derek and 7 great grandchildren: Madison; Rylan; Jaiden; Warren; Riley; Stetson; and Barrington.  All were a huge part of her life along with family and friends.

Myrna lived in Pinehurst, Idaho in a home her husband built from 1953 to 1986.  She then moved to the Fernan Village in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho where she lived until her death on January 15, 2024.

She was a domestic engineer (housewife) and mother.  She loved horseracing and had been to the Kentucky Derby with her son.  She was also adopted by a cat named Bee Bee.

She died peacefully in her home with her family and cat.  She was preceded by her daughter, husband and parents.

We know we did not do it your way, but the result is the same. RIP Mom.

Myrna's Memorial service will held at English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho 1133 N 4th St. at 11:00 a.m. on Friday February 2, 2024. A reception and graveside to follow.
