Nancy Averitt-Campbell

Nancy Averitt-Campbell, age 79, passed away on May 1, 2025, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

Born on January 28, 1946, in Renton, Washington, Nancy was the daughter of Don and Joy Averitt. She grew up in the Pacific Northwest, where she developed a deep appreciation for nature and the outdoors—an affection that would remain with her throughout her life.

Nancy found great joy in camping and traveling. She cherished every opportunity to connect with nature and those she loved. Her adventurous spirit was matched by her devotion to her family, with whom she spent countless treasured moments. She used to ask her grandchildren “How you doing babe?”. She was extremely thoughtful and caring.

She is lovingly remembered by her 2 sisters and brother, 1 son, 3 daughters; 6 grandsons; and 5 granddaughters; along with her 9 great grandchildren. Nancy’s legacy lives on through them and the memories they shared together.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Joy Averitt and husband Kevin Campbell.
