Pamela Ann Henkoski, 64
April 20, 1957 - October 7, 2021
Pamela Ann Henkoski of Athol, Idaho crossed the great divide into the arms of Jesus, surrounded by her family after a long battle with a chronic neurological disease on October 7th, 2021, at the age of 64.
We do not grieve as others do who have no hope because Pam put her trust in Jesus Christ--believing that He died and rose again as the perfect sacrifice for our sins so that we can live with Him in Heaven. All those who trust Him as their Lord and Savior will see her again too. "If we confess our sins, (Jesus) is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." - 1 John 1:9 -- Pam believed this with all of her heart and spent much of her life telling others about the hope Jesus gives.
Pam was born in Orange, California on April 20th, 1957 to Clifford and Barbara (Kern) Miller. She attended Catholic school until 12th grade when she then graduated from Westminster Highschool. She entered a Police Explorers Program, and worked as a dispatcher for Garden Grove and later as a fire dispatcher for Net 4 in Orange County. She married Michael Henkoski on December 29th, 1984, at the age of 27, and worked at Robinsons Department Store as well as a Color Consultant, before working as a Police Dispatcher for the city of San Clemente until 1989. When Natasha was born, she chose to devote her time to raising and homeschooling her kids and led a 5-star career as a homeschool mom. She thrived in that arena and led the charge for numerous functions, including field trips and the Homeschool YearBook for the North Idaho Home Educators Association.
She was a skilled photographer, enjoyed writing, spending time with her family, and was passionate about leading people to Christ. She loved gardening and picking weeds, scrapbooking, caring for her pony, and listening to her family play musical instruments. She was an encouragement to everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 37 years, Michael Henkoski; 2 children, Natasha (Henkoski) Little and husband Hank of Priest River, Idaho, and Alexander Henkoski and wife Sarah of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, along with her 8 grandchildren Ivy, Alexander, Asa, Elsie, Andrew, Roy, Nathan, and another due soon.
She is also survived by her mother, Barbara Miller of Huntington Beach, California; 2 sisters, Katherine Ussery (Jeff), and Lorraine Thunstrom (John); and 3 brothers, Thomas Miller (Donna), John Miller (Beth), and Mike Miller (Michelle), along with numerous nieces and nephews, and Paula Petersen. Pam was preceded in death by her father Clifford Miller; brother, Kenneth Miller; sister, Elizabeth Sebaugh; and niece Jennifer Dennison.
Her celebration of Life will begin her 9 AM viewing, followed by Services at 10 AM on October 23, 2021, at Grace Bible Church, 152 W Prairie Ave, Coeur d'Alene, ID, and concluding with her internment at Cd'A Memorial Gardens, and a luncheon. All are welcome. We thank English Funeral Chapel for their arrangements and care and invite you to share your memories of her at
