Patricia Ann Attridge

Patricia Ann Attridge (Snyder) peacefully passed away in her sleep on September 24, 2023 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho at the age of 92. Her birth-death date symbolizes the fullness of her life and her meaningful legacy.

Pat, as she was beautifully known, was born on September 24, 1931 to father Harry Rose Snyder and mother Geneva Snyder (Murphy) in Los Angeles, CA. She grew up in California with her parents, brother Jack and sister Shirley.

Pat attended Lomita Elementary and Narbonne High School. She was a very good student and was honored by being voted into the Jane Adams Club by the student body. She had a wonderful community of friends and enjoyed going to Crystal Lake where she swam, sunbathed and danced in the evenings.

After High School, Pat attended business school and started employment with the Kelly Car Company. She moved to the Pacific Bell Telephone Company as an operator and then retired from a full career as an Administrative Assistant with Los Angeles County.

A devoted Mom, Pat raised four children with the love of her life Arthur (Dick) in Torrance, CA. The two met at a produce market with a wink and a smile and even after almost 70 years of marriage Dick still started Pat’s day off with his bright smile.

Pat served her community by being active in the Junior League and PTA. She was an exemplary seamstress and shared her love through handmade clothing for her children and other family members. She spent many hours selecting the perfect fabric and trim for a variety of special dresses and suits. All were worn with great pride!

After retiring in 1986, Pat was able to fully enjoy her favorite things: living on Lake Isabella in California; traveling on cruises; gambling at her favorite casinos in pursuit of “The Royal”; crocheting lovely blankets; making homemade pies, cross-stitching on linen; reading a variety of books, visiting her children and grandchildren; and laughing with her beloved husband.

To all that knew her, Pat was a role model living her life with strength, dedication and love. She had a loving heart, a joyful presence, and treated everyone with kindness. From tender touches to singing “You Are My Sunshine” she ensured you felt loved.

Pat’s beautiful soul continues to live on with her loved ones. She is missed dearly and we are ever so proud and ever so blessed to have called her wife, Mom, Grandma, Gigi, sister, aunt and friend.

Pat is survived by her four children, Sherry Lynn (Alan Dana) Marks, Linda Lee Attridge, Richard Alan (Susan Doom) Attridge, and Mary Ann Attridge; her ten grandchildren Briana (Charles) Berger, Richard (Shelly) Attridge, Brandon (Tara) Marks, Cameron Noble, Hailey (Robert) Feagans, Nashea Noble (Bradley Enyeart), Erica Noble, Dave Attridge, Kaitlin Weideman, and Kendall Weideman; and her eight great-grandchildren Dylan Attridge, Carson Attridge, Macie Marks, Kyla Enyeart, Boston Marks, Avery Feagans, Everett Feagans, and Brielle Enyeart.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry Rose Snyder and Geneva Snyder (Murphy); her brother Jack Snyder; sister, Shirley Snyder; her sons, Richard Attridge and Arthur Attridge; and her grandson, Michael Joseph Attridge. Our hearts are full knowing they are all together and the Holy Spirit has embraced them as they embraced each of us.
