Paul Ray Shetley
Paul Ray Shetley passed away February 19th, 2022 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. He is survived by his 3 children, Mary Murphy (Gary Murphy), Brad Shetley (Bonnie Shetley) and Ashley McRoy (Collin McRoy), Grandchildren, Patrick Corbo, Kaitlyn Corbo, and Ezra Shetley, as well as his Cocker Spaniel "Missy" and Jack Russell "Charlie".
He was known by many as a friend, volunteer, and a Veteran, but most importantly a father and family man who, at times, was a father figure to those who were without. Simply put, he was a kind man willing to "stand in the gap" when needed.
Paul loved a nice fishing spot, fine cigar, and good conversation. Chats around a fire or table were commonplace and were usually accompanied by a Santa Maria style BBQ.
He will be remembered for his generosity, Godly character and hospitality to both those he knew a lifetime or those who he had just met.
A service and potluck will be held Sunday, February 27th, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Beth Shalom Fellowship, located at 3773 W 5th Ave, Post Falls, Idaho.
A burial with Honors will take place at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake, Wednesday, March 2nd at 1:00 p.m.
