Penny Lorraine Sundberg

In loving memory of Penny Sundberg (Triplett) who received her wings September 5, 2025. She was the devoted wife of Ted Sundberg and loving mother of Stacey Batorson (Robbie) and Brian Powell (Adele). She was a kind, caring and giving person who always put the needs of her family before her own. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in life with courage and dignity.

Penny was raised in Dalton Gardens but spent most of her adult life in Post Falls. She managed the Falls Club Restaurant for many years and Owned Pennie’s Family Diner also in Post Falls, until she semi-retired with Ted to St Regis, MT. She loved to camp and spend time with her family.

 Penny is proceeded in death by her parents Leo and Margaret Triplett, her brothers Byron, Lonnie and Robert (Bob), her granddaughter Mackenzie and great granddaughter River. 

She leaves behind her husband Ted, daughter Stacey (Robbie), and son Brian (Adele); her Grandchildren Ashley, Heather, Kimberly (Cory), Arin (Nichole), and Cody (Katie); her 12 Great Grandchildren Kayli, Jonah, Rachel, Trisha, Alister, Parker, Raemee, Branson, Bennett, Blondelle, Luna and Atlas; her Sisters Patty, Belva and Bonnie; Brothers Ronnie, Vince, and Ernie and so many others that love and will miss her. She was a source of inspiration to us all and will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.
