Richard Alan Fristoe age 57, passed away at North Central Care Center in Spokane, WA on March 25, 2023, after a lengthy illness with ALS.

Richard was born in Coeur d’Alene, ID, on October 24, 1965, to Ron and Janet Fristoe.  After graduation from high school, he enlisted and served in the US Navy, and returned to Coeur d’Alene after his discharge. 

Richard was an avid bowler since he was 5 years old, and even rolled a perfect 300 game on 11-11-2011. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gold panning, huckleberry picking, camping, playing pool, Hot Wheels and playing in his soft tip dart league. That is where he met and then married his wife Jacque.

He is survived by his wife Jacque; son Patrick Fristoe; step-daughter Christina Moore; his four grandchildren:  Chloe Fristoe, Owen Hampson, Zeta Hampson and Emery Hampson; mother Janet Fristoe; father Ron Fristoe; brother Randy Fristoe; sister Rhonda Ellis (Fristoe) and her husband Don; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Richard was preceded in death by his son Tim Fristoe in July of 2012, and by his niece Tina Brewster just recently last month.

A Celebration of his life will be at 11:00 am on Saturday April 15, 2023, at The American Legion Post 143 in Post Falls ID, along with a dart tournament to follow in the lounge afterwards around 4:00 per Rick’s request.

These services will be recorded and streamed live. In the event the service is interrupted at any time due to technical issues, the entire service will be uploaded and available to view later in the day.
