Ronald Lies

Ronald Duane Lies, 59, passed away just one day before his 60th Birthday, Oct 27, 2020 with his loving wife and son by his side.

Ron was born Oct 28th, 1960 in Sandpoint, Idaho to Vincent John Lies and Donna Rae Haugen Lies.  Ron will be lovingly remembered by his parents and his wife of 40 years Joan Raye Alexander Lies, his child Alexander Vincent Lies and his wife Joy.  Ron will also be fondly remembered by his three siblings, Larry (Nancy), Lisa (Paul) and Laura (Jim), and his four grandchildren, Michael, Samuel, Wesson, and Merida. Bernard “Nip” Lies was also a significant part of Ron’s life and will miss him immensely.  He will also be remembered by his mother-in-law, Jeanette Lee Caldwell, and his brother-in-law(s), Mark (Joni), Dale (Kim), Gary (Michelle), John (Diane) and sister-in-law(s), Jean (Joe) and Theresa (Jeff). He will be missed by several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces / Nephews and Great Nieces / Nephews on both sides.

Ron graduated from North Central High School in Spokane, WA where he excelled in Athletics. Through those years Ron worked at his Father’s Texaco service station. Upon graduation Ron went on to start his own Heating and Air Conditioning business in Spokane. Ron was skilled at almost every aspect of the building process where his family and friends all have a piece of his handiwork.  We have been blessed with an oasis he built for his friends and family in Sandpoint, Idaho. A place filled with memories that we will treasure.

A Memorial Service in memory of Ron will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 2:00pm at Calvary Spokane, 511 W Hastings Rd., Spokane. A reception will be following the service in the family center next door in the same location.
