RUSSEL WAYNE MEYER 77

Russel (Russ) W. Meyer passed away unexpectedly on June 12th at Kootenai Health in Coeur d’Alene ID.

He was born March 25, 1944 to Ernest and Elenor Meyer in Spokane WA.

Russ worked for Inland and Interstate Asphalt for many years as the asphalt plant manager and retired from Interstate Asphalt. He was a member of local operators union for many years.

Russ was a good man, a very hard worker and had many friends and family who loved him dearly. We will forever miss him. We hold him in our hearts now and forever.

Russ enjoyed many hobbies after retirement,  his passion was riding his Harley’s. Traveling to different events like Sturgis. He enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his beloved dog Spartacus.

Russ is survived by his only son Kevin W. Meyer of Coeur d’Alene.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date via the Cd’A press, once the weather stabilizes.
