Obituary

Shana Reamy, a beloved mother and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026, just shy of her 70th birthday, in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho. Born on March 8, 1956, in Provo, Utah, Shana dedicated over 30 years to the banking industry, concluding her career with Mountain West Bank in 2021.

Her professional life was marked by devotion and hard work, but it was within the warmth of her family and friendships that she truly illuminated the lives of those around her. Shana's proudest accomplishments included returning to school to earn her High School Diploma and nurturing her children, who were undeniably the heart of her existence.

Shana had a caring and empathetic nature; she was always there for her loved ones, offering support and love unconditionally. She was known for her delightful Christmas cookie bakes, a time of laughter and togetherness, as well as summer family camping trips that created lasting memories. Her remarkable macaroni salad became a staple at family gatherings, showcasing her talent for bringing people together through food.

Beyond family and professional achievements, Shana had a deep appreciation for life's simple pleasures. She enjoyed making quilts, immersing herself in books, and working outdoors in her yard. A true animal lover, Shana found joy in both nature and music, often sharing these passions with her family.

Shana is survived by her daughters, Angelique King and Christine Baker; her stepchildren, Tina Reamy and Doug Reamy; as well as a host of other family and friends who cherished her deeply. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Reamy, who remains in the hearts of those who remember their enduring love.

As we remember Shana Reamy, we celebrate a life filled with generosity, warmth, and unwavering commitment to family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and love that will resonate with all who were fortunate enough to know her.
