Shaun Ronald Ebert, a cherished husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on December 15, 2025, at Kootenai Medical Center, just one day shy of his 40th birthday. Born on December 16, 1985, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Shaun was a beacon of kindness and love to all who knew him.

Shaun was the beloved son of the late Cyndi Ebert and was predeceased by his grandparents, Ronald and Margaret Ebert, who undoubtedly greeted him with open arms. Shaun leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter in the hearts of his surviving family: his devoted wife of 15 years, Alex Ebert, with whom he shared a bond that was the envy of many; his two wonderful children, Liam and Ellie, who were the light of his life; and his sister, Amanda North, with her husband Branden. Shaun also leaves behind his half-siblings, Tristen, Andrea, and Jaden, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles, all of whom he treasured deeply.

Shaun's life was defined by his unwavering dedication to his family and the joy he found in the simplest of pleasures. He was a man who loved nothing more than spending time with those he held dear. Whether it was taking his children on outdoor adventures or sharing laughter-filled moments with his sister, nieces, and nephews, Shaun cherished every opportunity to be surrounded by family and friends.

Professionally, Shaun held various jobs throughout his life, but his heart truly belonged to Gene Day Park, where he found immense satisfaction in nurturing the beauty of the outdoors. His work at the park was more than a job; it was a calling that allowed him to blend his love for nature with his desire to create spaces where others could find joy and solace.

Shaun's memory will be honored at a celebration of life service on May 23, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Gene Day Park in Osburn, Idaho. It is a fitting tribute to a man who found peace and fulfillment in the great outdoors, and whose legacy will continue to inspire those who walk among the trees and trails he so lovingly tended.

In this time of sorrow, we remember Shaun not for the sadness of his passing, but for the warmth and joy he brought into our lives. His spirit will forever live on in the laughter of his children, the tender memories of his family, and the beauty of the natural world he so greatly cherished. Shaun Ronald Ebert will be deeply missed but never forgotten, as his love will endure in the hearts of all who knew him.
