Just before midnight, Oct. 19, 2021, Heaven gained a beautiful and loving angel.
Stephanie was born Dec. 12, 1976, to Duane and Sherry Walters in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. She joined her older sister Jennifer and they became lifelong friends. Stephanie graduated from Coeur d’Alene High School and soon after married Troy Blankenship. Together they raised two beautiful children, Troy (T.J.) and Alexis.
Life was never boring for Steph as she was always looking for ways to help someone or where she could cause the most mischief. She loved to go hunting with her dad, camping, fishing the lakes in the summer, ice fishing in the winter (always saying she caught the biggest and the most), rafting, watching old cartoons, but most of all, following her children at the various sporting events they were in. You could always hear her yelling at the top of her lungs encouraging them and showing her support. Stephanie worked for the Coeur d’Alene School District for many years and always looked forward to the holidays with the children and family, especially Halloween and Christmas.
She is survived by her children Troy (T.J.), daughter Alexis, her father, Duane (Kelly), her mother, Sherry Beisch, her sister’s family, Jennifer, Troy, Hunter and Shayna Wabs, her stepsister’s family, Shelly, Scott, Brenden and Bailey Darnell, grandmother Ella Walters, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
As per Stephanie’s request, there will be no services. A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
The family would like to thank the Hospice of North Idaho staff for all their loving support, care given in such a gentle and personal manner, but most of all for always being there for her and the family in a very trying time of need.
