After 8 months of battling cancer, Steve Charles Hamilton ascended into heaven on April 20, 2025, Easter Sunday, where he soaring with the angels. Steve Hamilton was born August 28, 1950 to Barbara and Merle Hamilton in Boise, Idaho. He spent his youth in Mountain home, Caldwell and eventually in Boise. At the age of 17, off he went to the University of Idaho where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in December, 1972.
He began his working career with Farm Home as a loan officer and moved to Coeur d'Alene in 1974. In 1991, he went to work for Ray's Specialty Foods as a food merchandiser and continued in the field for 23 years.
Steve had two daughters from his first marriage Lindsay and Lauren.
Steve spent his last 35 years with his wife, Teri Salas Hamilton and her children Erin and Damon.
He loved watching the Mariners and Seahawks. Cannon Beach was a favorite spot he loved to visit. Steve had interests in cars and owned a 69 Chevelle Super Sport and a 74 Dodge Sno-Fiter pickup.
Steve leaves behind his wife Teri, Erin and Ray Thompson and Damon and Lindsey Woodward. He also leaves 4 grand-daughters: Collins, Kinley, Remy, and Josie.

There will be a celebration of life on July 19, 2025 at the Eagles on Sherman from 2pm-5pm. He loved Hawaiian shirts so find some Hawaiian attire and join us as we lift our glasses.
