Tracy Stevenson

Our beautiful Tracy Lynn Stevenson (Kelly) passed away on July 18, 2019. Tracy fought a long hard battle with cancer. She fought with grace, dignity, and the most positive attitude I have ever seen. She never gave up.

Tracy was born in Butte Montana on October 13th 1966. Tracy spent most of her younger years in the Pacific Northwest. She graduated from Kellogg High School in 1984. Spent some time at North Idaho College and Boise State and then settled in to earn a bachelors degree in business education with a minor in both marketing and economics from the University of Idaho.

Tracy taught four different subjects at Ballard High and was extremely passionate about teaching but, decided to go in a different direction. She remained in the Seattle area for a while but, eventually moved to California. Tracy worked for Zones, Fuji, Millennium, and Verisign before landing at Hewlett-Packard where she worked for nearly 13 years. She ended her work career at Lenovo where she was an account executive. Tracy was an incredible employee, team leader, and could sell anything to anyone. She had a way about her and she was very well liked and  respected by her peers.

Tracy loved all animals but especially her three pups. Zoe, Tucker, and Wilson. They were her world.

Tracy was a very social person. She loved get togethers, time with her dear friends, running marathons and supporting the fight for a cure for cancer in any way she could. She faced each appointment/treatment with a smile on her face and with belief that she would beat this ugly disease.

Tracy touched many people in her lifetime, if you were lucky enough to be loved by her, she loved you fiercely. She was an incredible sister, a devoted loving daughter and a best friend to many. My heart breaks that she is no longer here with us.

Tracy's final days were spent at the Schneidmiller house in Hayden Lake Idaho. She was surrounded by her dearest friends and her loving family. Tracy was cared for by the most devoted, gentle, kind hearted individuals I have ever met. My mom and I would like to thank them for making those last nine days, comfortable and peaceful for a beautiful Tracy.

Tracy is survived by her sweet mom, Donna Kelly, who cared for her lovingly for the past five years, Donna’s dear friend Denny Prosser, sister Marcy Kerr and her long time boyfriend Nate Swaney, brother Tom Kelly and his wife Beki Kelly, Sister Tracy Jo Kelly, her three nephews, Nathan, Ryder, and Spencer, niece Alyx, several dear aunts, uncles, cousins, and hundreds of very special friends. Tracy was proceeded in death by her dads, Raymond Poad and Tom Kelly.

To know Tracy was to love Tracy. She was beautiful, brilliant, loyal and lit up any room she entered. Life is not the same without her. We miss her, we wish we could have just one more day with her. We'd hug her a little longer and we would tell her just how very much we love her.
