Vera May (Bullock) Brown, 81
Vera passed away peacefully on Sept. 27, 2017, at 81. She was born at her grandparent’s ranch in Belmont, Idaho, on Jan. 26, 1936, and enjoyed a fun-filled childhood with her sister, Ilene, and her cousins, Earnie and Cliffy.
She graduated from Coeur d’Alene High School in 1954 and married Vernon Brown on Sept. 30, 1955. Vernon and Vera spent 45 wonderful years together before his passing in 2001. Vera loved canning, sewing, camping and going on trips with her family. Vera was proud to be a homemaker, mother to four daughters and grandmother to 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Vera is survived by her daughters, Terry (Bob) Sutton of Post Falls, Kathy (Wendell) Gardipe of Cheney, Debby Brown of Colbert and Linda (Alan) Helm of Deer Park.
Graveside service for Vera will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017, at Coeur d’Alene Memorial Gardens, 7315 N. Government Way.
