Walter Melvin Sims, 88

Walter passed away May 24, 2018. He was 88 years old and born native to Hayden, Idaho.

He is survived by a son, George T. Sims of Hayden; daughter Terrie Yamamotto of Pacific City, Ore.; two grandchildren, Lance James Sims of Hayden and Trevor Miller of California; two great-grandchildren and many friends.

A viewing will be held from 9-10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 31, 2018, at English Funeral Chapel, 1133 N. Fourth St., Coeur d’Alene, with a funeral service to follow at 10:30 a.m., also at English Funeral Chapel.
