William Ladner

On November 1, 2019, and with much rejoicing, William George Ladner went home to be with his Lord.  He was our Daddy, Pops, FFIL, Billy, Grandpa Bill and a friend to many.

William was born on June 19, 1930, in Sayre, Oklahoma.  He grew up in Southern California and after retiring from the Los Angeles Police Department he and his wife Beth Carol moved to Post Falls, Idaho in 1993.

His hobbies included model building, gardening, traveling, dancing, opera, symphony boards and helping to build homes in third world countries.

William was predeceased by his mother Thelma and his wife Beth Carol.  He will be especially missed by his twin daughters, Catherine Ladner-Hammond (husband James of Corona, California) and Ann Kemp (husband Gregory of Honolulu, Hawaii), his brother Phil Ladner of Seal Beach, California, and his many nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Southern California where he will be laid to rest beside his wife Beth Carol.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Schneidmiller House of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

William’s favorite Bible verse was Numbers 6:24-26.  He is at peace.
