We are all missing you mom. You were gone so suddenly but we are happy you didn't have to suffer long. We know you wouldn't want us to be sad or dwell on your death so I'm going to do my best to stay strong for you. I love you so much and will see you again.

I met Barbara when we lived in Springfield, VA at First Baptist Church and she became a dear friend. After she moved to Idaho I lost touch with her but thought of her often over the years. A few years ago I received a phone call from her. Could not believe it! One day I am going to see her again! She was a special lady.

Oh my sweet mom, why am I having to the write to you this way? I should have many many more years with you but I know that our lord Jesus wanted you home. I miss you so much I miss your phone calls, I miss your stopping by and visiting me and I miss going to visit you and pulling up and seeing you sitting on the bench waiting for me. I don't ever want to forget those memories I've got thousands more I don't think they have enough room on here for me to even do a quarter of the memories I have. One thing I know for a fact is I had the best mother in the whole world. Your love for the Lord made us all realize how important he is to us as well. If you had not have put that foundation in us I'm sure our lives would be different. You've also showed us to be strong not just in times like these but in our everyday lives. You gave us the roots to be the kids we are. For that I am truly thankful. I thank our heavenly father every day that we were able to have the time with you that we did. I'm so very thankful that God picked you to be my mom. I love you Mommy and I will let them miss you till my last breath.
With all my love,
Dionne #4
