Obituary

We regretfully announce the passing of Sharon Moore of Athol, ID on October 26th, 2021. Sharon was surrounded by her family and passed away peacefully.
Sharon was one of the strongest women to ever walk this earth and our family was blessed to have her as our matriarch. We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her. Sharon was a mother to three beautiful children, Thomas, Lisa, and Shannon. She was independent, fearless, and hardworking. Being a mother, and grandmother, was one of the most important parts of Sharon’s life, a role that gave her much pride and joy. She was an excellent mom, and even better grandma. Sharon was a force of nature, determined to provide for her family and give them the life she felt they deserved. Her family meant more to her than anything else in the world; something she often mentioned. She was always supportive, kind, hilarious, witty, stubborn, and painfully honest. We will all miss her dearly.
Sharon was predeceased by her parents, her 3 brothers, her husband Bob, and her son Thomas. She is survived by her sisters Janice and Kathy, and her daughters Lisa and Shannon. She also leaves behind 3 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren who will always treasure the endless love and support she provided.
We mourn the loss of Sharon and encourage any and all who knew her to remember the beauty she brought to this world.
A very special “Thank You” to Crest Home Health and Hospice, for all their “Help and Support”!
“When I die, give what’s left of me away to children and old men that wait to die. And if you need to cry… cry for your brother or sister who walk the street beside you. And when you need me, put your arms around anyone… and give them what you need to give to me. I want to leave you something. Something better than words or sounds. Look for me in the people I’ve known or loved. And if you cannot give me away, at least let me live in your eyes and not your mind. You can love me most by letting hands touch hands. By letting bodies touch bodies. And by letting go of children that need to be free. Love doesn’t die. People do. So when all that’s left of me is love… Give me away.” – “Epitaph” by Merritt Malloy
