Ed Hill passed away at his home in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho after a long battle for over 30 years with diabetes on May 17, 2021. Ed was born Wallace Edward Hill to Milton and Katheryn Hill in Los Angeles, California.

Ed was a man's man. He was Independent, tough, and a fierce patriot.  Through his life he exemplified service.  Ed joined the U.S Navy out of high school.  On his return he served the public as a San Diego Police Officer, Alaska State Trooper, and assistant Chief with the Acro Alaska Fire Department at Prudhoe Bay.

Ed was a wonderful, full-of-life man who took up a huge part of our hearts.  We will miss his hugs everyday!

Ed is survived by his wife Nancy Hill, daughters Lynda Bryant, Shirley Morris and her husband Greg, grandsons, Sean and Greg, granddaughters, Cyndi and Leah.

Ed's ashes will be scattered on Mount Drum in Alaska per his request at a date to be determined.
